Undercover extraterrestrial Butch Markham is hanging out until the
mother ship comes back. Trouble is while he's waiting he has to
guard the inimitable Claire Simonson. Good thing, too, because after
two attempts on her life, it's abundantly clear this is a
serious-ass ET with plans for her--and it ain't a week in Bermuda.
From Claire's point of view, Butch is a handsome, hunky, annoying
pain in the butt. He knows it, and doesn't care. He's taking over
her life--no more working, no going out--just him right next to her
every minute. Frankly, it's getting hard to tell which is worse: the
possibility that the killer will finally get to her or that Butch
will.

"I loved Deep Cover and it earned the 4 Cups I gave it. The book
sucked me in from the very beginning and kept me glued to my seat to
the very end. Moira Reid is a wonderful writer who made Claire and
Butch come to life for me. Deep Cover was an action-packed
spell-binding book that I honestly think will keep the readers glued
to it from beginning to end. I look forward to reading more of Moira
Reid’s books in the future."

"I have read books in the past by Moira Reid, being a fan of hers; I
have an idea of how her writing should be. Let me just say she
didn’t fail to please me yet again. The suspense was strong
throughout the entire book. The author is great at throwing unique
twists in there to keep readers guessing. Just when you think you
have an idea of what is going to happen, she throws on of those
twists your way and leaves you determined to keep reading to find
out more. The characters are both strong and unique. They compliment
each other only the way romance characters can and should. Most
authors have a hard time with writing a story that flows, but Ms.
Reid’s story was easy to read, to understand and to keep up with the
details. It’s a great story most romantic suspense fans will enjoy."

Seduction
101
by Moira Reid
Samhain Publishing
No one knows the advertising game better than Julia—sell the sizzle,
not the steak. However, selling sirloin and selling herself are two
different things. When she tries to generate sizzle in a coworker,
he’s more interested in paper shuffling than anything juicy she has
to offer.
Eric, her long-time best friend and co-worker, feels the sizzle
all right. The sizzle of the rare and beautiful Julia…and a searing
jealousy as he watches her try to seduce another man. If Julia is
ready to hit the sheets with someone, he’s determined it’s going to
be him. But he needs a plan. Like her clients, Julia doesn’t respond
to the direct approach; she needs to learn to generate her own heat.
So Eric cooks up his own little continuing education class.

"Moira Reid is a new author for me but after finishing Seduction
101 she has now just gone on my list of authors to watch out for."
--Fallen Angels, 5 Angels
Ms. Reid’s charm works well here, giving us a fast-paced
entertaining story laced with humor. Seduction 101 is an easy,
enjoyable read that’ll give its readers some very memorable
lessons."
--Literary Nymphs, 4 Nymphs
"While Seduction 101 seems like another routine rehash of a familiar
story on the surface, Ms. Reid has managed to put a decent spin of
her own on the formula and this makes her story fun to read as a
result. The characters are likable silly fools and their falling in
love, be it by the last page or five years later, does feel very
right indeed."
--Mrs. Giggles gave it an 81!
"Seduction 101 has all the elements that make this a great read.
Lust, love, a little comedy, and some great sex scenes. Moira Reid
sets the stage for this seduction with a misunderstanding about
Eric's sexual preference and things go haywire after that. This
short story packs quite a punch – Eric and Julia have some seriously
hot chemistry. Sign up for Seduction 101 and you just might like
going back to school. Class is in session!"
--Vivian at Joyfully Reviewed
"Moira Reed takes the friends to lovers storyline to a new intensity
and quirkiness with this quick-witted tale. Eric is a real
sweetheart who’s kept his feelings for Julia to himself for five
whole years. She’s smart career wise but when it comes to love and
seduction she’s clueless - fortunately Eric’s willing to teach her
everything she needs to know. I loved the emotional turmoil and
insecurity they both experience during their long weekend. SEDUCTION
101 is a fun and romantic story that gives readers a good reason to
believe that best friends really do make the best lovers."

Welcome

by Moira Reid and L. Shannon
Reviews:
"L. Shannon and Moira Reid introduce readers to the STEEL CITY
VAMPIRES with this fascinating story which couldn’t have been titled
more appropriately – WELCOME HOME. Kalib may be a vampire but
there’s an innate gentleness that makes him absolutely loveable.
Shasta’s a spunky character and I loved that she refuses to accept
anything at face value. There’s a definite attraction between Kalib
and Shasta which is evident from the very first page but even before
David’s appearance threatens to destroy everything before they’ve
even truly explored their feelings. I got a huge kick out of
Shasta’s feisty dressing down of her uncle and Kalib and couldn’t
wait to find out how the rest of the story would play out."

life immediately changes...and not for the better.

Then things turn much worse.

Reviews:
Elle Parson loses her job and wins $10 million in the Texas Two-Step
Lottery. Someone tries to snatch her purse, then she kisses a blind
man and it turns out to be the best kiss of her life. She’s shot at,
drugged, and falls hopelessly in love – all in a couple of
action-packed days.
The homeless blind guy turns out to be an undercover cop, after the
Houston Marauder. He’s not blind at all and he likes what he sees in
Elle. There have been three abductions and two women are dead.
Nick’s sister Toni McCray was victim number two and, although she
has come out of her coma, she has not really returned to the living.
She has a husband and child and Nick is sure apprehending her
abductor will bring Toni back to normal.
Always living on the financial brink, Elle earned some needed cash
at a gentleman’s club just over a year ago. She met some sleazeball
guys and some women customers who admired the Chippendale dancers.
She isn’t proud of her stint as a stripper.
Elle fantasizes about how ten million could change her life.
Detective Nick Damato is not impressed with money, but then he does
have quite a bit of it. He hides his own wealth from Elle and most
of the world.
Elle’s ex-boss, Jeremy Sharmiah, is a real jerk who hit on her and
threatened to reveal her past when she spurned him. Nick’s partners
on the force are down-to-earth guys trying to solve the crime. The
killer and the methods used are unusual, to say the least. The story
is engrossing and action-packed, if not totally believable.
The mystery is solved with a few unique twists, and the erotic
scenes are extremely well written. Author Reid keeps the reader
interested and involved as she spins this riveting tale.
--Sphinx Minx, Literary Nymphs - 4 Nymphs
"Elle is feisty, self assured, and unwilling to just sit back and
let the world pound on her. She has fought tooth and nail to drag
herself up to where she is barely above the water and then the
lottery win seems like the answer to her prayers, or is it? Elle has
to decide if money makes the woman or if money is just a handy tool.
Nick Damato is one hot detective and the chemistry between him and
Elle is blistering. But Elle also brings out his stubborn,
protective nature too. I enjoyed the interaction between these two
strong personalities and watching them struggle to figure out what
is going on and who is after Elle. The action starts right at the
beginning and the suspense builds right up to the conclusion of the
story. Are you looking for an entertaining romantic suspense with
strong characters, a murderous bad guy, and lots of chemistry? Then
you’ll like Pay Dirt."
--Steph B., Romance Studio, 4 Hearts!
"The mystery is solved with a few unique twists, and the erotic
scenes are extremely well written. Author Reid keeps the reader
interested and involved as she spins this riveting tale."
--Sphinx Minx, Literary Nymphs, 4 Nymphs!
"What a hoot! I love the fact that in Pay Dirt what is possibly the
worse day of Elle's life might turn out to be the best. But, at the
same time, Ms. Reid has done a wonderful job in keeping Elle
grounded in her beliefs and what getting the monies will do to her.
While I did find Nick to be a bit of a jerk, and a little too
secretive for his own good, I didn't feel that it detracted too much
from the story. I overall enjoyed Pay Dirt, finding the suspense and
erotic scenes well written."

"This is a fun novella about a girl who wants to be loved for
herself -- even if she is reluctant to reveal exactly who that is.
The story is fresh and clever.
Savannah's friend Mara and the agency receptionist Penelope are the
only supporting characters, deftly described in a minimum of words.
Savannah is funny, likable, and wacky. Jack is hunky, confused, and
smitten.
Author Reid does a great job of dealing with expectations, the
truth, and the modern world. This is a cute little gem."

Reviews:
Johnathan and his brother Dillon are vampires who hunt and
eliminate drug dealers. Ramos Garcia has eluded them for years.
They're getting closer but now one unexpected complication stands in
their way. Lenora Greenway is Johnathan's neighbor and the woman he
loves. When she tells him Ramos is her brother and a vampire it
makes the boys' job much harder.
Moira Reid adds her well crafted contribution to this great series
about vampires finding their soul mates. Johnathan and Dillon are a
unique pair of handsome men well preserved for over one hundred
years old. It's a fun twist that Lenora worries about their age
difference while Johnathan is worried about how she'll deal with his
vampirism.
Leave it to Ms. Reid to build the suspense and then shock us by
making it a moot point in the long run. Dillon is great contrast to
Johnathan with his love for bigger and better weapons, fast cars,
and men. Love stories always come alive under this author's pen.
This one is no exception as she add her own special blend to this
series.
--Dee Dailey, Romance Studio, 5 HEARTS
"Moira Reid continues the STEEL CITY VAMPIRE series with THE VAMPIRE
ORACLE: SUNLIGHT. Johnathan is one of those characters who I really
wasn’t sure if I liked him when we first met him in earlier stories
because he seemed cold and uncaring. Through his feelings for Lenora
readers really get to understand him and he becomes far more
personable. While reading L. Shannon’s THE VAMPIRE ORACLE: LOVE I’d
wondered how Johnathan felt about his decision to have himself and
his brother 'changed’ and if he regrets it at all so I really
enjoyed learning his perception of things. Lenora is perfect for
him. She’s got a generous loving nature and doesn’t seem to let much
of anything faze her. Ms. Reid does an amazing job bringing this
story to life and the characters to readers’ hearts."

Hawkes
Abandon

Reviews:
"Allison 'Ally' Lawson wanted Hawkes Brandon so much that, when
she felt him drifting away, she set up a scene to make him jealous.
Not only did it work, the jealousy sent him running for ten years.
Now his mother has asked Ally to find him, tells her she thinks
something has happened to him. Seems his mother is trying to push
the two of them together. It even works for a while until Ally gets
caught up in intrigue, telepathy and situations surrounding Hawkes’
life as a Special Agent.
"Moira Reid gives us a great romantic suspense story wrapped around
information about clairvoyance, telepathy and some unforeseen
telekinesis when needed most. Ally and Hawkes are superbly done as a
couple who loves one another but has to learn to trust, communicate
and allow one another some privacy. Mother Brandon, like mothers
everywhere, is a little matchmaker with powers of her own that keep
that gentle, motherly push at their backs to make the decision we
all want them to make anyway.
"The storyline is well built with surprises along the way that keep
the reader wanting to know more. The dialogue helps keep the
suspense going. There’s great eroticism as the couple’s bodies seem
determined to outsmart their thoughts or doubts to bring them
together. The villains are nasty and devious. But the author sets it
up and pulls it out every time to make this a great read."
--Reviewer: Dee Dailey, The Romance Studio, 5 Hearts
"Suspense and danger go hand in hand in this great story of the
paranormal. I really enjoyed Ally and Hawkes, their story was
different and unique, using their minds to survive what could have
been a tragedy. Moira Reid has been able to make this book a
believable delight, with characters that are strong but also have
weaknesses, just like an everyday person."
--Ecataromance
"Hawkes Brandon walked out of Allison Monroe's life when she
betrayed him. Ten years later, Ally is sent to look for Hawkes at
his mother's urging and the truth spills out. Hawkes is a telepath,
but he failed to see her reasons for doing what she did. Now they
are attempting to reconcile, but Hawkes' dangerous job and Ally's
reluctance to have Hawkes reading her mind are obstacles that may be
too big to overcome.
"Hawkes Abandon is interesting and exciting. The sex between Hawkes
and Ally is hot and the story is full of action.

"A heartbreaking and yet uplifting book. Moore imbues her characters
with real life, pain, emotion. We really feel for them as we follow
their story, their struggle to "overcome", as they triumph in the
end. I love stories that are about friendship at the core of them,
and this one definitely is."
--J. Voelker
"The best part about this book is the ambiance of college life and
the realistic feelings of the main characters in the days and weeks
after the horrible events take place. I can really feel the reality
of both girls being attacked and their struggle to "break even"
afterward. I loved Kat and Jenna and really felt like I know them!
Ms. Moore draws a very clear picture of them both, and the book
flies by. I stayed up all night and read it!" –P. Zych
"Let me start by saying I loved this book. I've known Deb (the
author) for years, and she makes me cry every time I read her stuff.
She's been writing for years, and it shows in this story. I can
highly recommend this book to anyone. It's sad and happy all at the
same time! Also, it's kind of funny." -K Lutz
"I loved this book. I couldn't put the book down! I read it in three
days. I haven't done that in years. I am ready to read the
continuing editions. I was so in to the characters. It brought back
so many college memories. How fun. I want to see a copy of the books
this author did for her daughter. I want to get some ideas for my
boys. Are they available anywhere?" -P. Goodwin
"The story of two women who are both attacked viciously is well
drawn. How they learn to love again is an exciting, painful, but
funny journey. I really loved this book." --a former UN-L student
"I just finished Break Even. I liked it and I really liked the
ending. I give it two thumbs up." -Carolyn O.
