>I was just thinking…eating that cheeseburger and fries when I know it’s probably got 1000 calories (at least) is really just one thing: self-sabotage…and also maybe laziness…too lazy to make my own lunch or buy a salad instead…
adj. la·zi·er, la·zi·est
- Resistant to work or exertion; disposed to idleness.
- Slow-moving; sluggish: a lazy river.
- Conducive to idleness or indolence: a lazy summer day.
- Depicted as reclining or lying on its side. Used of a brand on livestock.
Destruction of person, then I guess, is what self-sabotage is…obstruction of normal operations…hmm. Acting in a fashion that hinders endeavors… It’s the same with the writing. Not writing is a form of self-sabotage. Fear of failure…fear of success. I was just telling my kid the other day when she was so overwhelmed with the fact that she has 12 grades to go through…she’s only in first now…that she only has to do *this* homework, not the entire 12 grades right now.
One day at a time. That’s the goal. Just to do today’s writing, and not worry about tomorrow’s.
