>Back in town

>Back in town…visited the in-laws and grandparents for Easter weekend. Did get some writing done (about 1k), but mostly spent the time in angst convinced that Dish is crap and I’m a talentless hack. Sigh… It has been “that kind” of a couple of days. It happens every now and then, almost always when I’ve just read something that was pure genius. That wasn’t the trigger this time, but the result is the same.

The only thing to do is to write on…keep working on it. Get better. Pay attention to what’s working and don’t fall in love with any of it. Be willing to slash it to pieces if need be. (At least, that’s all I know to do.) I believe I’m close to the end now, and that’s always about the time these feelings come on…

Also, tomorrow I’m supposed to be starting something new for the BIAM, and at the moment, I’m fresh out of ideas, so that’s weighing on my mind. Tomorrow morning when I’m fresh, I’m going to play around with some ideas and see if anything comes up. I’ve been noticing a lot of things lately that interest me, so probably some of it will come out of that. Have to wait and see, I guess.

    >I know exactly how you feel. Unfortunately, I think it’s part of being a writer. :/ So don’t dwell too much on it, just keep on writing and revising and thinking up new ideas. :DHappy late Easter, BTW.Good luck with the BIAM.
