>Got up at 3:30 this morning!

>Okay, couldn’t sleep last night. Was sooo stuck on Dish last night that I slept like crap and woke up at 3:30 this morning, jumped out of bed and went back to work on it.

FINALLY figured out what the problem was. In the last scene I’d written (10 or so days ago), my hero did something I now realize he would have *never* done, and I couldn’t figure out how to move forward from there. (Realize, of course, that I didn’t *know* this was the problem all this time, but this morning I finally figured it out!) My poor hero was standing around going, “Please! How stupid do you think I am??” LOL And thankfully, I hadn’t gone any farther down the wrong road!!

So, in just a few minutes (and about 10 days), I fixed it, hero is happy again, and I’m back on the trail. Yippee! Got another 1000 words on it by 5 am, then worked on new story for Brava for an hour. (Since Dish was *supposed* to be my 35k Brava story which has turned into 70k+ now and I needed a new one to try once more to come up with a contest entry). The new story (which I *do* think I can turn into 35k ONLY) is called Rent-A-Husband, Inc.

My newly-single sister and I were talking on the phone this past weekend, and she said, “I need a Rent-A-Husband. Somebody should start that business! I don’t need one all the time; just for the heavy lifting and fixing stuff I don’t know anything about.” I’m like ZING! Great idea!! So, that’s what my story is about. Took me a while to figure out a plot that would go with it, but with the help of GMC, it started to come together. I’m in the middle of coming up with the list of scenes I’m going to need to tell the story now. Very exciting!
