Things have been moving along on the writing front. Got two contracts recently, one from LooseID for my ETs and another from Red Sage for a book I wrote under another name. I’m waiting on edits for both, although I think the Red Sage one is pretty much done. I did four rounds of edits with the editor before I sold it to them. Easier that way actually…less pressure. 🙂 At the time, I thought it was odd, but turns out it was easier (now) that way. Who knew?
The LooseID contract was about the most exciting thing that’s happened to me lately. I love those ET books, and I’m really glad they liked the first one, too. If all goes well, I’ll send them the other two, and see how that goes. I’d like to write another one in that series, actually, but it’s a little dangerous to go too deep into a series without seeing how it goes first. I could end up writing it just for my own entertainment…could be I’m the only one who likes them! LOL (Oh, ETs is my way of talking about extraterrestrial romance, by the way)
Time to go the day job for about 12 hours. (I don’t work all that time, but with 2 hours of commuting, 8 hours of work, an hour to get ready to go, and an hour to get the kid picked up and organized back at home, I won’t make it back for 12. Lessee, 12 hours of that, 6 sleeping, a couple eating/brushing teeth/etc, that leaves about 4 to write. Sounds right. LOL (Notice how cleaning house never makes it into that timeline? That explains a lot, actually.)
