Moira Reid presents her readers with a serious situation and puts a fun twist on it in this romantic suspense story. Crete is such a wonderful hero and I loved how his thoughts and feelings were so available to me. He is faced with extraordinary circumstances and yet he remains such a strong, principled man. Tasha Henslow is a smart and beautiful woman with horrible self-esteem, proving that you never know what goes on in someone else’s mind. The chemistry between the main couple is solid there is a real emotional connection as well as a simmering sexuality. I’ll admit that I didn’t think much of the fact that Tasha did not remember a man she spent the night with but the entire situation was explained well and was understandable. The villain, while no means innocent came across clearly in his actions and motivations were interesting to witness. The story idea was a unique concept and I enjoyed the hire a handyman concept and am hoping a branch opens in my neighborhood. This was a good story that I’d recommend to romance fans and I look forward to seeing what else this author has to offer.
